Moby TV is not compatible with internet services from another provider (ie. Shaw or Rogers). If you need internet services, please signup for Moby Internet as well. If you simply do not need any internet, carry on!

As part of this agreement, Moby will buy out any contract with 6 or more months remaining. Moby will provide a bill credit of $15.00+tax CAD for every month remaining on your contract to a limit of $360.00+tax CAD. This buy-out will activate a 1 or 2 year contract where Moby Internet and/or Television are provided as the minimum services under this agreement. Any additional add-ons, plans, channels, rental equipment, or other services may be changed at the customer’s discretion and will be charged in addition to the monthly fees for the base services. Details on these services can be found on the Moby website.
Please note that you will be responsible for canceling any existing contracts with your previous provider.

Early Cancellation
If you cancel your Moby services or change your subscription for Moby services below the minimum service level, you will be immediately charged an early cancellation fee calculated based on the sum of:
(i) $15 per month plus applicable taxes for every month (or partial month) remaining under the term of this agreement; and
(ii) the value of the promotional contract buy-out provided to you by Moby.

All other charges relating to the Moby services then due and owing will remain due upon the cancellation of this agreement. For full cancellations terms, see Moby’s Residential Terms of Service on the Moby website.

Terms and Conditions
This agreement is non-transferable. All equipment provided by Moby under this agreement shall remain the property of Moby and must be returned to Moby within 30 days of termination or early cancellation of this agreement. In the event of any loss of, damage to, or non-return of such equipment, you hereby authorize Moby to charge you for replacement and/or repair of the equipment.
Upon the expiry of this agreement, for as long as you are a Moby Internet and/or TV customer Moby will automatically transfer you to a month-to-month agreement.

The Residential Terms of Service set out on the Moby website apply to the provision of all Moby services. Where the terms contained herein differ from those contained in the Residential Terms of Service, the terms of this agreement shall prevail.

Charges & Payment
Your combination of plans, add-ons, channels, rental equipment, and other services is highly customizable, and a different monthly fee will apply depending on your selection and any applicable promotional discounts. Fees and charges associated with your Moby services may change from time to time in accordance with our Residential Terms of Service, including in connection with normal rate increases applicable to all Moby customers. You will be billed monthly for both your Moby services and any applicable equipment. Charges will appear on your monthly invoice. Amounts owing after the monthly due date are subject to a late payment interest charge calculated on the outstanding amount at 2% per month (26.8% per year) until paid in full.
Payments terms are included in our Residential Terms of Service. It is important to be aware that the modem deposit of $50 will be added to your first invoice and refunded based on the Residential Terms of Service.

Buyer’s Right to Cancel
You may cancel this agreement from the day you enter into the agreement until 10 days after you receive a copy of the agreement. You do not need a reason to cancel.
If you do not receive the goods or services within 30 days of signing the agreement, you may cancel this agreement within one year of the agreement date. You lose that right if you accept delivery after the 30 days. There are other grounds for extended cancellation. If you cancel this agreement, you must then return the goods provided by Moby. To cancel, you must give notice of cancellation at getmoby.com/cancel. It doesn’t matter if Moby receives the notice within the required period as long as you submitted it within the required period. will provide a check of $15.00+tax CAD for every month remaining on your contract to a maximum
limit of $360.00+tax CAD. This check will be sent via Canada Post mail within 10 business days of
installation of Moby Internet services.

Please note that you will be solely responsible for cancelling any existing contracts with your
previous provider. Moby will not, under any circumstance, cancel services on your behalf.

Once you receive the DocuSign contract, please upload an image of your photo ID and a copy of your most recent bill from your previous provider.
This is required but can be sent to subscribers@getmoby.com any date prior to the installation of services.
By signing this agreement, I acknowledge I have read and understood the terms set out in this
agreement and agree to comply to them.

You will need to provide Moby with a copy of your current provider's contract as well as a copy of your government issued ID.

By signing up for services, you agree to our Residential Terms of Service. These can be viewed at getmoby.com/terms-and-conditions-res.

Moby will perform credit checks on you and obtain information about your credit history from a credit reporting agency, credit grantor, to activate Services you ordered, and to assist in collection efforts. Moby may also disclose your Moby credit history to credit reporting agencies, credit grantors, and collections agencies. Please note this is a hard inquiry and may affect your credit.

All Moby Installs are FREE! You no longer need to pay the modem deposit before your install. We require that someone is home for the entire duration of your installation. A technician will be in your building at the confirmed time, but they have work to do in the backend before they set up the equipment in your unit. Your technician will contact you when they are ready to access your suite.

A one-time Refundable Modem Deposit of $50.00 CAD will be added to your first invoice. This will be returned to you when you return your modem at the end of your services with Moby as long as your account is in good standing.

Moby does not and can not cancel my current contract with my current internet service provider. I understand that I will have to contact my internet service provider to cancel my contract if I no longer want their services.
